The Story
The story is set in the year 311 of the Orbital Calendar, when humanity has migrated to countless colony clusters in space. A space colony girl named Akiha Shishido encounters a malevolent artificial intelligence named Leopard that has been installed on a colony. Akiha is joined by an Inter-Colony Police officer named Itsuki Kannagi, a taciturn young girl named Honoka Kawai, and a robot named Imoko "Imo-chan" Shishidou.
First Impression
Sunrise = mecha anime..., yup you'll find alot of mecha in this anime. Tapi anime ini bukan anime mecha yg punya cerita yg berat kyk gundam ato yg lain. Bisa dibilang anime ini lebih mengedepankan aspek komedi, walaupun pada episode pertamanya hanya setengah bagiannya yg bisa bikin orang bener2 tertawa. Kelucuan itu mulai saat Leopard muncul, jadi bisa dibilang dialah sumber kekonyolan di anime ini. Dari segi animasinya, Sora o Kakeru Shoujo ini terlihat kurang jika dibandingkan dg anime lain produksi Surise, tp design dan animasi mechanya patut diacungi jempol [well it's Sunrise after all^^].
